Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has married his long-time girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades. The wedding was registered in Goa on 21 August. The couple completed the legal formalities of their marriage at the Sub-Registrar’s Office in Mapusa, North Goa.
According to PTI, their close friends were present during this time. Under local law, a 15-day waiting period is mandatory between the first and second signatures.
To waive this period, the couple had obtained special permission from the Assistant Public Prosecutor of the local court. Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar stated that the marriage was registered under Goa’s Uniform Civil Code.
Arjun and Gabriella arrived at the office around 4 PM. Both were in casual clothes for the occasion.
Gabriella Demetriades is a South African model, fashion designer, and entrepreneur.

Arjun had previously revealed on Ranveer Allahabadia’s YouTube channel why he hadn’t married Gabriella despite being parents to two children.
The actor had said that it’s neither because of me nor because of her. What is marriage, after all? It’s just a piece of paper. I feel that we are already married, and I have no doubt about it, but sometimes that paper can change you because you feel that everything is permanent now, whereas in reality, this is a misconception, and you become legally bound.
He had further said,
This can change your attitude towards each other. I think we both feel the same way. What happened between us was very natural. I don’t want to talk much about it, because I don’t want to jinx it. I don’t think I need to answer anyone about this. This is very beautiful for us. You should keep feeling it as long as possible. In our minds, we are already married to each other. We are moving each other in the right direction and are also boyfriend-girlfriend.
However, Arjun Rampal had also clarified that he is not against marriage.
Arjun’s first marriage was with Mehr Jesia
Arjun Rampal’s first marriage was with former supermodel Mehr Jesia in 1998. From this marriage, they had two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra. After living together for 20 years, they announced their separation in May 2018, and both divorced in November 2019.
Mehr Jesia won the Femina Miss India Universe 1986 title.
