
The 18th BRICS Summit will be held on September 12 and 13 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. Journalists and delegates attending the event will receive special goodie bags.
The bags contain products from different parts of India. The aim is to give both foreign and Indian guests a taste of India’s culture and local products.
The bags include Bihar’s sattu and makhana. They also contain banana chips, coffee from Odisha and a stole from Gujarat.

One District One Product stalls set up

A ‘One District One Product’ exhibition has also been set up at the BRICS summit. It showcases 70 unique art and handloom products from across the country.
The exhibition is part of an initiative to showcase more than 1,200 unique products from 770 districts to the world.
Sonia Duhan, Senior AVP for ‘One District One Product’ at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, said, “All states and Union Territories are working under this initiative.”
