A bull created panic on a road in Rohtak after going on a rampage for several hours. Near the old bus stand, it charged at and hit a bus carrying schoolchildren before knocking down a young man riding a motorcycle.
The bull then chased a scooter rider for nearly a kilometre, triggering panic among commuters. People kept their distance and recorded the incident on their phones.
Bull damages parked car, suffers facial injury
The bull continued running through the road and later smashed the windscreen of a parked car, also damaging its bonnet. It suffered an injury to its face during the incident and was left covered in blood.
A Municipal Corporation team eventually rescued the bull and shifted it to a cowshed. The incident occurred on Monday, and a video of the entire episode has now surfaced.

- Chased a scooter rider: The bull did not stop there. It began chasing a young man riding a scooter past the area. When the man increased his speed, the bull ran after him for some distance. It eventually stopped and returned towards the road.
- Smashed the window of a parked car: During the rampage, the bull also targeted a car parked near the Old Bus Stand. It smashed the car’s front windscreen and damaged its bonnet. After running around and ramming into things, the bull eventually calmed down.

Panic grips market as injured bull runs through streets
The market around the old bus stand remained tense for a long time as people feared the bull. People shouted warnings to alert others, while commuters were seen running in different directions to get out of the bull’s way.
An eyewitness said the bull was also injured after repeatedly ramming into objects. Blood began flowing from its forehead, making the animal appear even more aggressive.
Shopkeepers question stray cattle control drives
A shopkeeper said the Municipal Corporation claims to conduct regular drives to remove stray cattle from the streets. However, he alleged that such campaigns appear to exist more on paper than on the ground.

Officials order immediate action to catch bull
Rohtak Municipal Corporation Mayor Ram Avtar Valmiki said, “Officials received information that a bull was causing a disturbance in the area.”
He added, “A video of the incident has also surfaced. Officials have been instructed to catch the bull, while the agency awarded the contract has also been directed to take immediate action.”
Municipal team rescues injured bull
Municipal Corporation Chief Sanitary Officer Sachin said they received information that the bull had attacked people. He said, “A team was immediately sent to the spot, where it rescued the bull and shifted it to a cowshed. The bull is currently undergoing treatment.”
