Doctor Burnt To Death Inside Car

A doctor was burnt to death after his car caught fire following a collision with a road divider in Telangana’s Suryapet district on Sunday morning.

According to police, the accident took place at around 7:15 am near the Pillalamarri flyover on the Hyderabad-Khammam highway. The car reportedly hit the divider and caught fire shortly afterwards.

Police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident. A charred body was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.

The deceased was identified as K. Jagadish based on information obtained from a nearby toll gate and the temporary registration number of the car, police said.

Jagadish was a neurosurgeon at a hospital in Khammam district. He was travelling from Khammam to Hyderabad to meet his family when the accident occurred.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision and the subsequent fire.
