On Sunday night, a theft occurred at the house of the Panchayat Secretary in Chirouli village, Guna. The culprits fled with approximately one kilogram of gold, six kilograms of silver, 10 lakh rupees in cash, and a motorcycle. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and began an investigation.
According to information, Pawan Meena, a resident of Chirouli village, is the Panchayat Secretary. According to him, as usual, all family members went to sleep in their respective rooms at night. His father, Babulal Meena, woke up around 2:30 AM. At that time, everything was normal. After that, he went back to sleep.

According to information, unknown miscreants entered the house between 2:30 AM and 4:00 AM. When the family members woke up around 4:30 AM, they found the room doors locked from the outside. The locks were opened somehow. After this, items were found missing from other rooms of the house.
Upon receiving the information, a police team, including SDOP Vivek Asthana reached the spot. The SDOP stated that the incident occurred between 2:30 AM and 4 AM at Babulal Meena’s house. The matter is being investigated. Police teams have been deployed to search for the accused.
Family owns 300 bighas of land, shop in Fatehgarh
The Panchayat Secretary’s family is among the prosperous families in the village. The family owns more than 300 bighas of ancestral agricultural land, which is cultivated. One brother has a shop in Fatehgarh.
At the time of the incident, about 11 lakh rupees in cash were kept in the house. Out of these, 6 lakh rupees belonged to the village temple, which villagers had given to the Panchayat Secretary for safekeeping.
According to the family, at the time of the incident, the Panchayat Secretary’s father and one brother were at home. One brother of the family is a doctor in Guna, while another brother is an engineer in Indore.
