In Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh, the husband of the Janpad President, a BJP leader, along with his associates, stripped and beat his girlfriend and her friend. The accused repeatedly hit both of them on the head with wooden sticks and a baseball bat. The man’s head was split open in the attack. The man died during treatment. The accused also made a video of the beating.
The deceased has been identified as Hariram Gomaji. Several marks of assault were found on his body. Meanwhile, the woman’s condition is also serious. The woman and her friend kept begging for mercy. They kept screaming ‘save me, save me’, but the accused continued to beat them.

Accused entered the house through the back door at 2 AM
According to Rajgarh police, around 2 AM on Saturday, some people from the Rajgarh area reached the woman’s house in Atal Basti, Petlawad. When the main door did not open, the accused entered the house through the back way. After this, they started beating the woman with a wooden club (mogri) and a stick kept in the house.
During this, Hariram Gomaji, who was present in the house, started trying to save the woman. The accused also attacked him. Both were stripped naked and beaten with a baseball bat and a club (mogri). Seriously injured Hariram was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment on Sunday morning.

Woman said – We had a love affair for 14 years
The injured woman stated in her statement to the police that she had a love affair with the main accused, Deva, son of Thawariya Singad, for about 14 years. About a year ago, she distanced herself from the accused. After this, a dispute started between the two.
The woman stated that she had gone to Ujjain for darshan with Hariram Sirvi on July 31. Both returned on the evening of August 1. It is alleged that the main accused did not like her coming and going with Hariram. Due to this animosity, she was attacked at night after someone broke into her house.
The accused told the man – you have relations with the woman in front of us.
Family’s allegation – first threatened, then broke into the house and attacked
The son of the deceased Hariram Sirvi said that before the incident, the accused had reached their house in Dhulet, Dhar district. There, they abused, threatened to kill, and left. On Sunday morning around 5 AM, a call came from Petlawad Hospital stating that his father was admitted in serious condition. Upon reaching the hospital, we found the dead body.

The accused made a video of the entire assault incident and later uploaded it on social media. In the video, the accused are telling Hariram to have sex with this woman right in front of them. They are also seen abusing Hariram. After the video went viral, public outrage increased.

Protest in front of the police station with the dead body
After the death of Hariram Sirvi, his family members and people from the Sirvi community arrived in large numbers at the Rajgarh police station in Dhar district. They staged a protest outside the police station with the body and demanded immediate arrest and strict action against the accused.
During the protest, slogans were raised and commotion also occurred outside the police station. Considering the situation, additional police force was deployed. Officials spoke with the protestors and assured them of action, after which the situation calmed down.
After the death of the person, family members and villagers surrounded the Rajgarh police station.
Murder case registered, accused absconding
Based on the statement of the injured woman, Rajgarh police have registered a case against the main accused, Deva son of Thavariya Singad, and his associates under sections 103(1), 115(2), 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including murder and other charges. All accused are currently absconding. Police are continuously searching for their arrest.

It is being said that the main accused, Deva son of Thavariya Singad, has been associated with the BJP. However, he currently holds no official party position. It is also being said that he is the husband of the Janpad President. No official statement has been issued by the police or the BJP in this regard so far.
