Kangana Ranaut Slams Baba Ramdev

Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut hit back at yoga guru Baba Ramdev over his remarks on her ‘Generation Gutter’ comment.

Kangana reacted to Baba Ramdev’s statement that her remark about Gen Z reflected a corrupted mind. In an Instagram Story, she wrote, “Baba ji, don’t day-dream about my youth or bedroom.” She further said that such thoughts could only come from rumours and gossip.

Kangana also referred to Ramdev’s past controversies, writing, “At least I have never been reprimanded by the Supreme Court for false or fake medical claims.” She added, “So don’t lecture me on character. Whatever your character is, mine is far better than that. No fraud has been found here.”

Actually, recently Baba Ramdev had criticized Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Generation Gutter’ statement regarding Gen Z.

In a conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh, Baba Ramdev, reacting to Kangana’s comments on Gen Z, had said, What is her qualification? How was her childhood? How was her youth? What were her past deeds like? I don’t want to talk about such people. Calling the youth of any country, Gen Z, ‘gutter-patter’, this is a sign of a spoiled mind. It’s wrong. Her party members should take notice of this.”

In 2006, Baba Ramdev, along with Acharya Balkrishna, established 'Patanjali Ayurved Limited'.

When asked whether Kangana had been an admirer of his yoga, Baba Ramdev said that her appreciation of him or yoga would not make him ignore what he considers her wrongdoings. He questioned whether he should overlook her statements simply because she praises him.

Said youth has no caste

Ramdev also said that youth cannot be defined by caste or community. He said young people come from different social backgrounds, including Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Dalits, tribal communities and SC-ST groups. According to him, today’s youth is a powerful force and its importance cannot be denied.

What Kangana had said

Kangana had recently shared an Instagram Story discussing the behaviour of young Hindu women. She said some women want to adopt the lifestyle of independent and career-oriented women but do not want to earn that freedom themselves.

She said truly independent women make their own choices, express their views openly, choose careers beyond traditional paths and take responsibility for their decisions. She added that such women do not make these choices at the cost of their parents or families.

Referring to what she described as a new generation of Western-minded Indian women, Kangana called them ‘Generation Gutter’, a remark that later drew criticism from Baba Ramdev.
