The official trailer of Mirzapur The Movie was released on Tuesday, August 11. The trailer brings back Munna Bhaiya, played by Divyendu Sharma, along with Bablu Pandit, marking the return of both popular characters.
It shows a new chapter of power, revenge and bloodshed in Mirzapur.
After the success of the web series, the franchise is now heading to the big screen. Directed by Gurmeet Singh, the film will release in cinemas on September 4, 2026, in Hindi and Telugu.
Jitendra Kumar in the role of Bablu Pandit
Actor Jitendra Kumar is playing the role of Bablu Pandit in the film, replacing Vikrant Massey, who played the character in the web series. Earlier, the makers had also released new posters for the film. These showed the powerful looks of Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), and Bablu Pandit (Jitendra Kumar).

Along with the trailer, the makers have also officially confirmed the film’s release date. This film will be released in cinemas on September 4, 2026. It will be released pan-India in Hindi as well as Telugu. Earlier, the makers had released four character posters, which had increased the audience’s excitement for the trailer.

Apart from the main characters, the film includes a large star cast. It features Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal S. Chauhan, Anangsha Biswas, Shaji Chaudhary, Satyendra Soni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Sushant Singh. The film is written by Puneet Krishna, while Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) have produced it.
