PM Modi Launches Ram Nath Kovind Autobiography

PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched the autobiography of former President Ram Nath Kovind, ‘Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles’. During this, he appealed to the youth to learn from the struggles of others and read autobiographies.

He said that today is the era of reels and social media influencers take you elsewhere. But even in this era, remember what is written at railway stations: ‘Shortcuts will make you small’.

4 points from PM Modi’s speech…

Kovind’s life shows that with determination, a person can overcome difficulties and reach the highest constitutional post in the country.

Kovind’s autobiography will become a legacy of Indian democracy and the new generation can learn a lot from it.

After leaving the post of President, Kovind has not stopped and is working on the One Nation, One Election solution.

Reading an autobiography gives an opportunity to understand the period which the author himself has lived through.

We need more young people like Kovind in the future – people who are unwavering in the face of circumstances and determined to face every challenge.

The autobiography is aptly titled. Kovind’s life and struggles may have been personal, but the triumph of those struggles is that of Indian democracy.

5 points from Ramnath Kovind’s speech…

I come from a village in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. I learned compassion and love from the villagers.

Rainwater would drip inside the house from the roof and the family would wait for the rain to stop.

Today, crores of poor families have got a concrete roof under government housing schemes, which has given them the opportunity to live with dignity.

His interaction with PM Modi and his ability to connect with common workers also impressed them.

He associated himself with BJP because according to him the party gives priority to the nation over dynasty and community.
