A special programme is set to be held in Gujarat’s Vadodara on Tuesday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event will include the foundation stone laying and inauguration of several projects, but the PM will also directly interact with Gen-Z. For this, the stage has been designed around a new theme this time.
Along with the PM’s stage, a special ‘Y’-shaped ramp has been built, with young people seated around it. Modi will walk along the ramp and interact with Generation-Z students and professionals.

Online registration was opened for people wanting to attend the programme. The registration portal opened at 10.30 am, and all seats were filled within just an hour.

The entire event will be produced and covered live using 4K cameras, enabling people to enjoy a high-quality visual experience. Police and security agencies conducted a rehearsal along Prime Minister Modi’s route

A major rehearsal was conducted today by the police and security agencies as part of the final preparations for security arrangements in the city. Three-tier security has been deployed from the airport to the venue of the gathering.
More than 2,000 personnel, 11 DCPs and 17 ACPs will be deployed for security. The venue is being continuously monitored by drones. For the first time in history, the fire brigade team entered the Vishwamitri River by boat beneath the Mangal Pandey Bridge to inspect for bombs or suspicious objects.
During the rehearsal, traffic was stopped for a short while along the convoy route. Traffic diversions have been arranged for the convenience of citizens, and checking at hotels and guest houses has been intensified.

The road from Pandya Bridge to VUDA Circle is closed. As a large number of people are expected to attend the event, alternative routes must be used instead of the road from Pandya Bridge via the below Fatehganj Bridge to the old VUDA Circle in order to prevent traffic problems in the city.
People have also been urged to cooperate in maintaining traffic arrangements by following the traffic-related instructions given by police officers and personnel on duty.
Cleanliness drive organised for a week The Vadodara Municipal Corporation conducted a special cleanliness campaign on the subject closest to Prime Minister Modi’s heart ahead of his arrival. Historical buildings, temples, anganwadis and other areas of Vadodara city were cleaned. Music programmes were also organised at various locations to attract young people.
