Television actress Shweta Tiwari recently claimed that she found a cockroach in an energy drink ordered online. After opening the delivery, the actress was shocked to find the insect and shared videos of it on social media.
In a video posted on her official Instagram account, Shweta said they had ordered a Red Bull through Instamart, but the delivery also brought a cockroach into their home. She jokingly added that the cockroach was now “running all over the house”.
Shweta questions FDA officer Tukaram Mundhe
In another video, Shweta showed the cockroach and questioned food safety officer Tukaram Mundhe, who has been in the news for his actions on food safety issues in Maharashtra.
She said, “Should we tag Tukaram Mundhe ji? Mundhe ji, these cockroaches are coming into our house from Instamart. Where are you? Please pay attention.”

Was Shweta taking a dig at the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’?
Shweta’s post has also been linked to her earlier criticism of the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’. The actress had strongly opposed the group’s protest and said she believed it was using climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s movement for its own political agenda.
At the time, Shweta wrote that Wangchuk was fighting for an important cause related to education and the future of children. She said his concerns should be taken seriously by the government.
Shweta had distanced herself from the protest
Shweta had also made her position on the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’ clear. She said she neither supported nor agreed with the group’s way of handling the issue.
According to Shweta, the group was using Wangchuk’s movement to further its own political agenda, and she did not support this approach.
Along with her cockroach video, Shweta also re-shared a post by a friend saying that the actress does not like cockroaches of any kind. The post was seen as another apparent dig at the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’.

Raja also claimed that he had often visited the sets of Shweta’s television shows but could not find her there. According to him, Shweta would say she was away for dubbing, but when he checked with dubbing artists, he was allegedly told that no dubbing was taking place.
He further claimed that Shweta would spend long periods sitting in a car with Cezanne Khan by the roadside. These are Raja’s allegations, and Shweta has not been quoted here responding to these claims.

Second marriage to Abhinav Kohli also ended

Abhinav was subsequently taken into custody by the police, and the couple separated that year.
Meanwhile, Raja Chaudhary married Delhi-based corporate professional Shweta Sood in 2015. Their marriage ended in divorce after seven years.
