The Supreme Court has taken serious note of allegations that a 14-year-old girl who participated in the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest was harassed and her house was vandalised.
The Supreme Court told Solicitor General Tushar Mehta to ensure action on the girl’s FIR and her safety. The court has sought reports from the Delhi and Uttar Pradesh governments on the action taken.
Independent Bhardwaj was sent to jail after the girl’s father was attacked during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar. The girl’s family has now alleged that they were intimidated and threatened. The court commented on the matter. We are updating this news….
