In it, two miscreants are seen stealing a mobile phone worth about 80 thousand rupees from the shirt pocket of a priest in just two minutes and fleeing. The accused committed the crime using a bag as cover.

The victim, Rajesh Pujari, stated that he had gone with his son, who is learning priesthood, to a shop near Narsingh Ghat, close to the ashram, to buy puja items. He had bought a mobile phone worth 80 thousand rupees about a month and a half ago, which he had kept in his upper shirt pocket.

According to Rajesh, two youths started loitering around him at the shop and surrounded him. During this, one accused, using a bag held in his hand as cover, took out the mobile phone from his pocket.

The entire incident was captured by the CCTV camera installed in the shop. In the footage, one accused is also seen looking towards the camera after stealing the mobile phone. After this, both miscreants fled from the spot.
