An Air India flight from Phuket, Thailand, to Delhi encountered turbulence on Monday, causing a brief change in the aircraft’s altitude during cruise. The airline said the pilots handled the situation safely and flight AI2379 landed without incident at Delhi Airport.
All passengers and crew are safe, Air India said. While no serious injuries have been reported, a few passengers and crew members sustained minor injuries and were taken to the airport’s medical facility for examination and precautionary treatment. The airline said it is extending all necessary assistance to those affected and is cooperating with authorities investigating the incident.
