Soha Ali Khan and Saba Ali Khan recently revealed that they did not attend their brother Saif Ali Khan’s first wedding. Both were in school at the time, and the wedding happened in such a hurry that they were not even informed. Their school principal informed them about Saif’s wedding after seeing media reports. Additionally, Saba Ali Khan has revealed why she is still single today, after her marriage to a man from Kolkata broke off at the age of 19.

During the conversation, Saba Ali Khan revealed that when Saif and Amrita got married, both she and Soha were in school. Soha also mentioned that the wedding happened very quickly, which is why both sisters could not be a part of it.
Phone call came from the principal’s office
Saba further stated that due to the sudden media reports about the marriage, the school administration had to intervene. According to Saba, she received a call from the Principal’s office. She was told not to discuss it with anyone until it was confirmed. Saba recalled that she was instructed not to tell anyone anything, as the news had already appeared in the media and they did not know its truth.

Saba Ali Khan revealed why she didn’t get married
Saba Ali Khan has revealed the reasons for not getting married. Saba said that she started receiving many marriage proposals from the age of 18-19, but she didn’t marry anyone. During the conversation, Saba said that she never had a boyfriend. At the age of 19, she was almost going to marry a person from Kolkata, to whom she was introduced. However, at that time she was not ready for marriage, so the matter could not proceed.
Saba was looking for someone like her father
Saba said that as she grew older, she was ready for the idea of marriage, but then she couldn’t find anyone who completely matched her. Referring to her late father and former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, she said that he was an extraordinary person. Saba said that she wanted to marry someone like her father, but she couldn’t find anyone like that. Saba has also said that people often ask her if she is really Soha and Saif’s sister.
Why did Saif and Amrita marry in a hurry?
In 1990, Saif Ali Khan was making his debut with filmmaker Rahul Rawail’s film ‘Bekhudi’. Before launching Saif, Rahul Rawail invited many big actors to do a photoshoot with Saif. Among them was Amrita Singh, who was considered a star at the time. Everyone knew Saif as the son of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore. The first time, Amrita ignored Saif, but then, when Saif put his hand on her shoulder for the photoshoot, Amrita looked at him angrily.
Amrita was 12 years older than Saif. One day, after their first meeting, Saif called Amrita’s house. Saif asked if Amrita would go out for dinner with him. Amrita refused, saying that she doesn’t go out for dinner. When Saif asked about lunch, she again refused. However, Amrita did say that if he wanted, he could come to her house and have dinner together.
Saif reached Amrita’s house that very day. They both started talking, and during their conversation, a good connection formed between them. They both kissed each other, and with this, Saif also expressed his love for Amrita. Amrita also accepted his proposal. After this, Saif stayed at Amrita’s house for two days. Due to repeatedly arriving late on set, Saif was removed from the film ‘Bekhudi’.
