At least seven people were killed and 11 others injured after a private bus overturned in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district on Saturday morning. The injured passengers have been admitted to Tissa Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

According to police, the accident took place near Chalunj Morh, a short distance from Bairagarh. The private bus, operated by Sharma Coach, had left Bairagarh for Chamba at around 7 am. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, following which the bus overturned and fell onto another road.

Chamba SP Vijay Kumar Saklani said the bus was carrying around 25 passengers at the time of the accident.
