Govinda has responded to his wife Sunita Ahuja’s remarks about his alleged affairs. Sunita has previously spoken publicly about his alleged relationships with several women. In response, Govinda suggested that speaking negatively about someone publicly is not necessary for achieving success or recognition.
In an interview with ANI, Govinda was asked about Sunita’s claims regarding his alleged affairs. The actor said, “She abuses me with great love, and I also eat from her hands. I believe that the people who are where they are, and whatever role God has given them, have contributed to our success. If they were not there, we would not have been successful.”
Govinda said – It is not necessary to make allegations to create distance
Govinda hinted that Sunita got stardom after speaking openly about him. He said, “There are many things that are not expressed. Is it necessary to make accusations to create distance? But people believe it’s an easy way out.”
He questioned, “Is it necessary to badmouth your own people for success? This is a bit easier. Sunita praises, then criticizes. I see more love in this.”
Sunita had said – Govinda had many affairs
Sunita Ahuja recently became a contestant on ‘Lock Upp 2’. During the show, she talked about Govinda’s alleged affairs. She had said, “In love, you should be able to tolerate everything. Chi Chi (Govinda) had many affairs in his youth. I ignored them then, but I won’t now.”
Govinda spotted with actress Komal, Sunita had said – I hate name Komal
Sunita Ahuja has accused Govinda of extra-marital affairs and cheating on several occasions. Amidst affair rumors, Govinda has been spotted at the airport with actress Komal Rani Swarnkar, whose name his wife Sunita has also mentioned. Sunita had recently said that she hates the name Komal.
Sunita had accused him of cheating and said, “I hate the name Komal.”
Just a while ago, Sunita, in an interview given to Miss Malini, spoke about Govinda’s affair rumors, saying that mistakes happen in youth, but hearing all this at the age of 63 is not right.
When the interviewer revealed that her name was Komal, Sunita reacted strongly. She said, “This name is a bit problematic. I hate the name Komal. There’s one Komal, X Y Z, whoever it is. I hate her.”
Komal set to make her Bollywood debut with Govinda
Govinda is set to make his Bollywood comeback after seven years and is reportedly launching Komal through a film produced by him. There are also reports that Komal will appear in Govinda’s second film, Duniyadari.
In July, during a press conference for the upcoming film Roopa, Govinda introduced Komal to the media and praised her. He said that after watching the film, audiences would recognise her as a talented actress.
Sunita says aspiring actresses need ‘sugar daddies’
In the same interview, Sunita spoke about young women trying to enter the film industry. She alleged that some aspiring actresses need a “sugar daddy” to support their expenses and claimed that some try to trap or blackmail people to get ahead.
Sunita also said that Govinda, who is 63, would not engage in such behaviour, pointing out that he has a wife and children. She added that while people may make mistakes in their youth, they should not repeat them at this stage of life.
Govinda and Sunita married in 1987
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in a private ceremony in 1987, when Govinda was already an established Bollywood star. The couple kept their marriage private for around two years, reportedly to avoid affecting his career.
They later made their marriage public after the birth of their daughter, Tina Ahuja. The couple also have a son, Yashvardhan Ahuja.
