Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s international action thriller 7 Dogs is set to release in Indian cinemas. Salman Khan announced on social media that the film will hit theatres on August 21.
Directed by Bilal Fallah and Adil El Arbi, the film stars Egyptian actors Karim Abdel-Aziz and Ahmed Ezz in the lead roles. Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt will make cameo appearances in the film. 7 Dogs was earlier released in several Middle Eastern countries this year.
Both actors’ styles were seen in the teaser
The teaser of the film ‘7 Dogs’ was released last year. At the beginning of the teaser, Sanjay Dutt was seen holding a gun. Meanwhile, in the last part of the teaser, Salman Khan was seen in a suit. Ever since both actors appeared in the teaser, there has been a discussion about this film among Indian audiences.
Three-day shooting took place in Riyadh
This film has been produced by Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority. According to reports, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have good relations with Turki Al-Sheikh.
For this reason, both were ready to do a cameo in this film. For the shooting of this role, Salman and Sanjay went to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, last year in February. There, both shot their scenes in a three-day schedule.
Story of a Drug Syndicate and an Interpol Officer
According to a Variety report, the film’s story revolves around a global crime syndicate named ‘7 Dogs’. In this, Interpol officer Khalid Al-Azzazi arrests Ghali Abu Daoud, a big leader of this syndicate.
A year later, when this syndicate starts trafficking a new drug called ‘Pink Lady’ in the Middle East, Khalid is forced to seek Ghali’s help. Ghali is the only person who knows the syndicate’s modus operandi well.
Worked together from ‘Saajan’ to ‘Old Money’
Audiences have long loved the on-screen pairing of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. They first worked together in the 1991 film ‘Saajan’. Subsequently, they also appeared together in the 2000 film ‘Chal Mere Bhai’ and the 2002 film ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’. Last year, both were also seen together in Indo-Canadian rapper AP Dhillon’s music video ‘Old Money’.
