CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke had reached his village on August 15.

Repair work has started in the government school in Santuk Pimpri village, Hingoli district, Maharashtra, founded by Abhijit Dipke of the Cockroach Janata Party.

This work began two days after Dipke inspected the school and highlighted the lack of basic facilities.

Actually, Dipke had visited the Zilla Parishad school in Santuk Pimpri village on August 15. He had gone there to launch his party’s ‘Fix the School’ campaign. During this, he made a video of the school premises, highlighting the broken windows of the classrooms and the lack of other basic facilities.

Abhijit Dipke launched the ‘Fix the School’ campaign from his village in Hingoli, Maharashtra, on Saturday. He had said that poor students are suffering due to government neglect, and he demanded a cap on private school fees.

Panchayat started repair work

Immediately after Deepke’s visit, the local Gram Panchayat became active and ordered the commencement of repair work in the government school.

Vijay Puri, Sarpanch of Santuk Pimpri, told the media, “Deepke visited the school and saw the facilities here. We have started working on the infrastructure-related deficiencies he pointed out.”

He informed, “Damaged windows are being replaced, and faulty CCTV cameras are also being replaced. New window frames are being installed.”

Sarpanch Vijay Puri also said that there was a problem of water scarcity in the school’s toilets. He informed, “We have arranged for 24-hour water supply in the washrooms.”
