Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that the country is not a “dharamshala” (shelter home). Only citizens have the right to live in the country.
Speaking at the Intelligence Bureau’s National Security Strategies (NSS) Conference, Shah said infiltrators pose a threat to the country’s security, economy and demographic changes. “Our aim is to free the country of infiltrators in a very short time,” he said.
He said he had visited all border states over the past eight months. He also shared with these states a document outlining a four-pronged strategy for border security.
Shah called for putting the PRAHAR strategy into daily operations to completely eliminate terrorism and dismantle its 360-degree network.
