Dr. Meena Gupta, daughter of senior BJP leader from Ambikapur, Karta Ram Gupta, has gone missing in the floods at the Nepal-Tibet border. At the time of the incident, she was at the immigration center located on the Nepal-Tibet border with her team. All 80 members of her group are also reported to be missing along with Dr. Meena. This group had gone on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Dr. Meena Gupta is currently working as a skin specialist in England. She reached Delhi on August 14 for the Mansarovar Yatra. After that, a group of about 80 people, along with a spiritual guru, left Delhi for Kathmandu. The group had completed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra on August 23.
