Delhi Court: Swatantra Bhardwaj Sent to 14-Day Judicial Custody

A Patiala House Court has remanded accused Swatantra Bhardwaj to 14 days of judicial custody in the case related to the alleged assault on CJP activist Sanjay Azad.

The Patiala House Court extended Bhardwaj’s judicial custody until 21 September. He was produced before the court through video conferencing from Tihar Jail.

On Sunday, he had been sent to one day of judicial custody.

Bhardwaj was arrested in a case registered under the SC/ST Act in connection with the alleged attack on Sanjay Azad
