Actress and MP Kangana Ranaut has criticised Rakhi Sawant over her controversial remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reacting to the comment, Kangana said people who make such statements would not even be given a job as a sweeper.
Kangana calls out character assassination
In a post on her official social media account, Kangana said that Rakhi was not the only person who behaves this way. She alleged that unsuccessful and envious people often try to justify their jealousy, failure and negative thinking by attacking a successful woman’s character. She added that repeated attempts to publicly defame and attack someone’s character should not be tolerated.

Kangana further criticised Rakhi, saying that even if someone puts in a lot of effort or helps others, it does not guarantee success. She said every profession requires ability and talent, adding that people should not live under false expectations. She ended her post by telling Rakhi to sit back, watch her reels and “keep crying”.

Rakhi Sawant recently made a controversial remark about Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her appearance on Mohsin Khan’s podcast M.K. Talks. She questioned why Modi was looking elsewhere and referred to Kangana Ranaut and Smriti Irani while making an objectionable comparison.
Kangana and Rakhi have clashed before
The latest exchange is not the first time Kangana and Rakhi have taken jibes at each other. Their public spat goes back several years. On one occasion, Kangana was asked about a kissing scene involving Mika Singh and reportedly said she was not Rakhi Sawant, referring to Rakhi while making her point.
Rakhi had responded to Kangana
Rakhi did not take the comment lightly and hit back at Kangana. She said that if Kangana wanted publicity, she could have spoken about her own work instead of using Rakhi’s name.
Their statements continued over the years
The two have also exchanged remarks during other controversies. Rakhi had targeted Kangana during her 2020 dispute with the Maharashtra government. She later criticised Kangana over her statements during the Cockroach Janta Party protest as well.
