Atiq Ahmed’s son has died in a road accident. Aban Ahmed (21) was on his way to meet his elder brother Ali Ahmed, who is lodged in Jhansi jail. There were five people in the car. Suddenly, an animal came onto the highway. In an attempt to save it, the car lost control and crashed into the divider.
The police brought out all five occupants of the car and rushed them to the hospital, where doctors declared Aban and his friend Sonu dead. The injured have been identified as Umar Ahmed, Mohammad Zaid, and Aslam. The accident took place in the Poonchh police station area on the Jhansi-Kanpur highway.
