Bollywood’s beloved power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, have embraced parenthood for the second time. The couple joyfully welcomed a baby girl on 19 September, expanding their beautiful family.

To share the wonderful news with their fans, Deepika and Ranveer posted a heartwarming picture of their newborn daughter’s tiny footprints on Instagram, keeping the caption simple and sweet with a protective evil-eye emoji.
Pregnancy announced in April
The couple first shared the news of their second pregnancy on April 19. To mark the occasion, they posted an adorable photo on their Instagram handles featuring their eldest daughter, Dua.
In the charming photo, Dua is seen holding a positive pregnancy test kit while being cradled in her father’s arms. True to their preference for privacy, Ranveer’s face is kept out of the frame, and only a glimpse of little Dua’s face is visible, keeping the focus entirely on the beautiful milestone.

Daughter Dua was born in 2024
Deepika and Ranveer announced the birth of their daughter Dua on 8 September 2024. At the time, they wrote, “Welcome baby girl. 8 September 2024. Deepika and Ranveer.”
Earlier, Deepika had announced her pregnancy in February 2024. Their love story began on the sets of the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013. After being in a relationship for several years, they got married in Italy in 2018.
Deepika and Ranveer showed the world their daughter Dua’s face for the first time on the occasion of Diwali 2025.
As for the couple’s upcoming work, Deepika will be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the film ‘King’. The film will be released in cinemas on 24 December.
Meanwhile, Ranveer’s latest two films are ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Both films proved to be superhits at the box office.
The first instalment of ‘Dhurandhar’ grossed ₹1,307 crore worldwide, while its sequel also received an excellent response from audiences.
Dhurandhar 2 set a record by becoming the second-highest-grossing film in India with its strong box-office performance.
According to Sacnilk, the film collected around ₹1,149 crore net in India and approximately ₹1,813 crore gross worldwide. Gross collection refers to the total revenue from ticket sales, while net collection is the revenue after taxes.
