A 21-year-old model was stabbed to death inside her home in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Wednesday night.
The victim, Muskan, was allegedly attacked with a knife by Imran, a gym trainer who had known her for some time.
According to police sources, Muskan was alone at home as her family had gone out.
The accused allegedly arrived at the house and attacked her with a knife, killing her.
Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and began an investigation.
Police are checking CCTV footage
Police are examining CCTV footage from cameras installed around the area. The footage is being checked to track the accused’s movements and establish what happened.
Police are also trying to find out how the accused reached the house and which route he took to escape after the attack.
Additional DCP Abhishek Gupta said police are searching for the accused.
Friend says Imran had been harassing her for a long time
The victim’s friend said that around 7 pm, Muskan’s sister called him and told him that someone had stabbed her. The attacker was identified as Imran, who worked as a trainer at Muskan’s gym.
The friend said Imran was behaving strangely and had been harassing Muskan because she did not want to talk to him. He allegedly followed her and pressured her to marry him.
Muskan was a student and worked as a part-time model. According to her friend, she wanted to distance herself from Imran.
