On Thursday, a young man was murdered in broad daylight in the middle of a road in Gurugram. Three assailants riding a Pulsar motorcycle carried out the crime while the man was on his way somewhere.
The three assailants chased him, forced him to stop, and fired several shots at point-blank range into his abdomen. The man was injured and collapsed on the spot. The attackers fled after the incident.
The sudden incident caused panic in the market. Traffic came to a standstill on the road. As soon as they received information, police reached the spot and took the blood-soaked man to the Civil Hospital in Sector 10, where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as Mahendra, a resident of Basai village. After receiving information about the murder, his family members also reached the hospital, where police are gathering information from them.
