Film Hanuman Ansh has crossed the ₹300 crore mark in India. According to box-office tracker Sacnilk, the film earned ₹9.75 crore on its 44th day of release, the seventh Saturday. Its total gross collection in India has reached ₹304.80 crore.
Inspired by the life of Sant Neem Karoli Baba, the film continues to perform strongly in theatres. Its net collection in India stands at ₹258.13 crore, while its gross collection has reached ₹304.80 crore.
Including ₹24.50 crore from overseas markets, the film’s worldwide collection has reached ₹329.30 crore. Even in its seventh week, the film continues to maintain a strong earnings trajectory.
Mirzapur: The Movie also crosses ₹300 crore worldwide
Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Mirzapur: The Movie earned ₹4.50 crore on Saturday. Directed by Gurmeet Singh, the film stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Divyenndu in the lead roles.
After Saturday’s earnings, its total net collection in India has reached ₹210.70 crore, while its gross collection stands at ₹250.94 crore.
The film has earned ₹51.25 crore in overseas markets so far. Its total worldwide gross collection has now reached ₹302.19 crore. Business for the new weekend releases Vibe and Daayra also improved.
Weekend performance of new releases ‘Vibe’ and ‘Daayra’
The two new films ‘Vibe’ and ‘Daayra’, which were released in cinemas on Friday, saw a rise in earnings on Saturday. ‘Vibe’, starring Kunal Khemu, Preity Zinta and Sparsh Srivastav, is receiving a good response from audiences. The film recorded a net collection of ₹2.65 crore on its second day, an improvement over its first-day collection of ₹1.70 crore. With this, ‘Vibe’s total net collection in India has reached ₹4.35 crore, while its gross collection stands at ₹5.22 crore.
Meanwhile, the Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer Daaira has had a slightly slow start. After earning ₹1 crore on its opening day, the film recorded a net collection of ₹1.60 crore on its second day. This has taken Daaira’s total net collection in India to ₹2.60 crore and its gross collection to ₹3.10 crore. The films’ collections are expected to change further over the remaining days of the weekend.

Trade expert Taran Adarsh said about the film’s earnings, “If you look at the collections, from the first day until now, they are historic. It is very rare to see something like this.”
“The content is certainly there, but the film also benefited from word of mouth. If there is negative publicity, its impact is visible on the film by the second or third day, but if the reviews are positive, the film succeeds. That is what happened with Hanuman Ansh.”

Hanuman Ansh has been made by 42-year-old Vishal Chaturvedi. It is the biggest film of his career. Vishal was a doctor before starting his career in films.
