The country’s largest airline IndiGo’s website crashed again on Friday. Some passengers are unable to book flights from the website. Meanwhile, some users are also facing difficulty logging into the mobile app.
When opening flight booking on the website, a ‘No Data Available’ message is appearing. This is the second glitch in IndiGo’s website and online services this week.
The airline issued a service advisory on the website stating that there are intermittent issues with the system. Due to this, some customers may face difficulty using our online services. Their team is working to fix this problem as soon as possible.

Advised to book and check-in after some time
IndiGo has asked passengers to use digital channels again after some time. IndiGo said that customers who need immediate travel assistance should contact customer support helpline. Customers whose travel is later should try after some time.
Impact on booking, check-in and payment services
On Friday, many users complained on IndiGo’s X account. These included flight booking failures, web check-in difficulties and non-receipt of payment confirmation. This glitch surfaced two days after the problem that IndiGo had acknowledged in its main reservation platform.
The airline had also reported on X on Wednesday that it was experiencing intermittent issues with its reservation system. IndiGo had stated that due to this, some customers might face difficulties in using online services.
The airline had also mentioned that it was working with its technology partner to resolve the issue, but did not provide much information about the cause of the disruption.
These recurring issues could cause further inconvenience to passengers booking tickets online or managing flights.
IndiGo has 67% share in the country’s airline market
IndiGo is India’s largest airline in terms of domestic market share. In July, its share in the country’s domestic aviation market was approximately 67%.
The airline has a very large network. Therefore, when there is a disruption in its digital system, it can affect a large number of passengers booking tickets, checking in, or managing existing reservations.
This incident has occurred at a time when IndiGo has already faced scrutiny and criticism regarding operational difficulties.
Around 4,500 flights were cancelled in December
In December, around 4,500 IndiGo flights were cancelled following problems related to pilot roster planning. This raised many questions about the airline. Due to this disruption, thousands of passengers were stranded and air travel across India was significantly affected. Following this, regulatory bodies investigated the matter and took action against the airline regarding the flight cancellations.
Friday’s website glitch is not directly related to December’s operational crisis. However, the new problem has once again drawn attention to the reliability of IndiGo’s technology and reservation system. IndiGo handles a large portion of India’s domestic air traffic. It is currently not clear how long Friday’s glitch will last and what caused it.
