The wedding bells are reportedly set to ring for Sunrisers Hyderabad owner Kavya Maran and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. As per reports, they are set to tie the knot in Greece in the month of November.
This is not the first time that there have been rumours about their wedding. It has to be noted that there has been no official confirmation from either of them about these rumours.
Kavya, Anirudh may marry in November
As per a report by notable film commentator Christopher Kanagaraj, the two are set to have a destination wedding in Greece, with the date reported to be 10 November. Once again, there have been no exact details of the reported wedding between the rumoured couple.
Anirudh’s uncle teases his wedding with Kavya
Earlier this year, Anirudh’s uncle and veteran actor Y Gee Mahendra had appeared to confirm the much-talked-about wedding. “I would like to take this moment to congratulate him. He is getting into a very big wedding. Based on what I’ve been told, it’s a sure thing. They are getting married,” he said, while speaking in an interview with KPTV.
He had also praised Kavya, saying that she was not an ‘ordinary girl’. That girl is not just another ordinary girl. She has the capacity to handle such a big team,” he said. Mahendra had also made a request to the two.
“Both of them should get together and indulge in musical business,” he said.
Anirudh had refuted marriage rumours in 2025
This is not the first time that wedding rumours on the two have surfaced. In 2025, a post on social media platform Reddit did the rounds that claimed the two to have been dating for a year and would marry.
Anirudh had then taken to X to quash those rumours, with a simple tweet. Marriage ah? lol… Chill out guys. Please stop spreading rumours,” he wrote on the micro-blogging platform.
Who are Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran?
Anirudh is a hit music composer who has had extensive work in the South Indian film industry, namely Tamil and Telugu cinema. He composed the viral song ‘Why this Kolaveri Di’ in 2012 and was the music composer for Jawan, his Bollywood debut.
Being the owner of the Sunrisers group, Kavya is a regular presence in franchise cricket tournaments of which her team is part. She owns the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape team in South Africa’s SA20 and the Sunrisers Leeds team in England’s The Hundred.
