Korba Man Body Found On Pushpak Express

A passenger was found hanging from the toilet window of a general coach on the Pushpak Express on Thursday night. The train was halted at Bina Railway Junction after the incident was reported.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) took the body into custody and sent it to the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The matter is under investigation.

According to officials, Train No. 12534 Pushpak Express left Bhopal at around 10pm on Thursday and was scheduled to stop next at Lalitpur. At around midnight, the train guard spotted a passenger hanging from the toilet window of a general coach and immediately alerted the control room.

Following the alert, the train was stopped at Platform No. 4 of Bina Railway Junction. A GRP team, already present at the station, brought the body down and sent it for a post-mortem.

An Aadhaar card found during the search identified the deceased as Gorawar Singh (30), son of Kunjilal, a resident of Kalin Chowk Padania in Korba district, Chhattisgarh.

Passengers told the police that the man had been sitting near the train’s doorway since boarding at Bhopal railway station. The GRP is investigating the case from all possible angles.
