Bollywood actress Malaika Arora appeared in a traditional Begum-inspired look in Lucknow on Saturday(12 Sept) evening. She walked the ramp in an outfit adorned with intricate Lucknow chikankari embroidery and greeted the audience with ‘Namaste’ and ‘Adaab’.
Gulmohar 2026 showcases Lucknow’s art and heritage
The occasion was FICCI FLO Lucknow’s ‘Gulmohar 2026 – Fashion with a Purpose’, held at Hotel Taj. The event showcased Lucknow’s rich art, craftsmanship and cultural heritage through fashion.
Traditional Lucknowi outfits won appreciation from the audience, while local designers and jewellers also showcased their work.
