Police filed a 5,053-page chargesheet in Pune’s Ketan Agarwal murder case at the Vadgaon Maval court on Saturday. Police have claimed that Ketan’s death was not an accident but that a conspiracy was hatched to murder him.
Ketan’s fiancée, Sia Goel, and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, were involved in the conspiracy. Both accused are in police custody. Chetan’s friend Ritesh has also been named as an accused.
The chargesheet also mentions that the accused searched online for the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case in Indore. WhatsApp chats, photographs, mobile phone data and call detail records have been included in the chargesheet, along with witnesses’ statements. Police have recorded the statements of around 80 to 85 witnesses in the case.

Siya and Ketan Agrawal got engaged in November 2025.
Ketan’s body was found on 18 June
Siya and Ketan had gone sightseeing at Pune’s Lohagad Fort on 18 June. During the visit, Ketan died after falling into a gorge. It was initially considered an accident. It was reported that Ketan slipped and fell while posing for a photograph near a rock.
When police began investigating the case, CCTV footage from near the fort’s ticket counter showed a hooded suspect following Ketan and Siya. The investigation identified him as Chetan Chaudhary, who was said to be Siya’s boyfriend. Siya is accused of murdering her fiancé with the help of her boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary.

Ketan’s body was found in a ravine after the search operation.
Attempt to evade the police
Police investigation revealed that Chetan had tried to conceal his location. According to the police, he had deliberately left his mobile phone at his office. In addition, he had kept the internet switched off from around 7 a.m. until 5:40 p.m. By doing so, he wanted to avoid having his mobile location linked to the crime scene.
However, when the police examined the call detail records and other technical evidence, they found thousands of calls and lengthy conversations between Siya and Chetan. This digital evidence played a crucial role in the police investigation.
Siya searched for the Raja Raghuwanshi murder case
Siya’s online search history has also been included in the chargesheet as key evidence. According to the police, Siya was searching the internet for information related to crimes and accidents. She had also searched for an incident that took place in Lohagarh in 2025, in which a woman died after falling from a hill.
Ritesh Hange is the third accused
Ritesh Hange has also been named as an accused in this charge sheet. He is a friend of Chetan. Ritesh Hange has a friend in Bengaluru through whom the murder was attempted through a contract killing. However, this plan failed to materialize. Police have now named this Bengaluru-based friend of Ritesh as a witness in the case.
The police had also conducted an identification parade of the accused last month.
Tried to kill before
According to the charge sheet, before June 18th, Siya had taken Ketan to Lohagarh Fort on June 14th. According to the police, Ketan was pushed off a cliff during that time. However, Ketan’s hand grabbed onto a bush and he survived the fall. He was then taken to Lohagarh again on June 18th, and this time, he died.
