Dum Dum MP Saugata Roy faced a protest by BJP workers and supporters on Tuesday while arriving at the Kolkata airport to attend a meeting.
As Roy was on his way to the Airport Authority office to attend the meeting, BJP workers and supporters surrounded the area and raised slogans against him. As his car approached, protesters waved black flags and shouted “go back” slogans. They also raised “chor chor” slogans targeting the Trinamool Congress MP.
There were also allegations that his car was attacked during the protest.
