Party workers took to the streets, while a heavy police deployment had been made along the route. Protesters were seen carrying GEN-Z style posters with messages such as, “Stop firing on unarmed students with AK-47.”
Tricolour replaces RJD flags during protest
The tricolour was prominently displayed during the Raj Bhavan march instead of RJD flags. RJD supporters said any lathi-charge by police on protesters carrying the national flag would be considered an insult to the Tricolour.
