A strong weather system has become active again in eastern Madhya Pradesh. A heavy rain alert has been issued for 11 districts in the eastern region on Monday. Schools in flood-hit Satna will remain closed until September 1.
In Uttar Pradesh’s Chitrakoot, the water level of the Mandakini River has started rising again. On Monday night, the water reached the steps at Ramghat. Schools up to Class 8 have been closed for two days.
