Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut claimed on Saturday that he developed cancer while he was in jail. Raut had spent more than 100 days in jail in 2022 over his alleged role in the Patra Chawl redevelopment case.
He said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had advised him to undergo a toxicity test to find out whether poison had been mixed into his food.
Raut said the current government is so cruel that it can do anything. The condition of other political leaders who have been in jail is also poor. Anything could be tampered with in the food and water in jail.
