Auditions for Season 13 of the beauty pageant Elite Miss Rajasthan have begun, with models from the previous season sharing their experiences during the event.
Model Jyoti Soni said her mother is battling cancer and her father had a minimal income, and that the desire to do something for her family, especially her mother, motivated her to work hard; she initially ran a poha stall for about one and a half years, where several people told her she looked good and should take up modelling, but she paid little attention until a friend began preparing and applying for Elite Miss Rajasthan.
Model Jyoti Soni shared the story of her struggle.
Went for the audition at her friend’s urging
At my friend’s suggestion, I also looked into it. My friend insisted on taking me along to the audition and advised me to audition in my own clothes. Jyoti auditioned and was selected. I reached the competition’s top five.
Jyoti said, “This was a major achievement for me. Over the past year, I have shot across the country. My life changed significantly after joining this platform. Over time, her family’s attitude towards wearing revealing clothes also changed.”
The Elite Miss Rajasthan platform also gave her the opportunity to perform at international shows.
Winners and former participants from previous seasons launched the poster for Season 13.
The poster for Elite Miss Rajasthan Season 13 was launched at Kingsman Club in GT Central. The launch marked the official beginning of the new season.
Around 50 former Elite Miss Rajasthan participants and models took part in the ceremony. The presence of people from the fashion and glamour industries made the event special.

Auditions to be held in Rajasthan’s major cities and girls’ colleges
Gaurav Gaud, founder-director of Elite Miss Rajasthan, said that auditions for Season 13 would be held this time in major cities across Rajasthan. In addition, there are plans to organise special auditions at girls’ colleges in Jaipur.
The aim is to connect talented young women from different parts of the state with the platform, giving them an opportunity to advance in the fashion and modelling industry.
Rajasthan’s models to appear at Thailand Couture Show
Gaurav Gaud said that work was also under way to provide models associated with Elite Miss Rajasthan with opportunities at the international level. As part of this, preparations are under way to organise the Thailand Couture Show.
In addition, an Elite Villa has been prepared in Jaipur for 10 models, where selected models will be able to stay free of charge. They will be able to work towards advancing their careers.
He said, “This initiative is a new beginning for models. Many models who began their journey with Elite Miss Rajasthan are now making a mark at the international level. Several models have also entered the world of television and are working with major brands.”
Expanding from acting to fashion shows
Gaurav Gaud said, “The objective of Elite Miss Rajasthan is not limited to being a beauty pageant. Continuous efforts are being made to provide talents associated with the platform with opportunities in acting, beauty pageants, fashion shows, brand activities and shoots.”
He said, “Preparations are under way to take this platform to a much larger level in the coming period. New opportunities are being created to help talent from Rajasthan gain recognition outside the state and at the international level.”
He added, “Through Season 13, new talent will also be identified from different cities across the state and given a platform to advance in the worlds of fashion and entertainment.”
