
Indian passengers waiting for the flight to take off at Bangkok Airport
Thailand’s Bangkok airport has 200 Indian passengers stranded since Thursday evening after Air India flight returns to runway due to technical fault.
Several passengers are from Madhya Pradesh. They claim Air India has neither cancelled the flight nor issued refunds. They have now spent 28 hours at the airport.
Passengers said they reached the airport at 4 pm on Thursday and have been waiting for 28 hours, but no alternative flight has been arranged. They also said no Air India official has spoken to them.
Passengers said they only checked in and checked out on Friday. There are also small children and women among those stranded.
Sent between airport and hotel
Divya Maheshwari from Indore said she had travelled to Thailand for a holiday. She was scheduled to take an Air India flight from Bangkok to Delhi at 5.30 pm on Thursday.
She said boarding was completed at 6 pm and the passengers reached the runway at 6.15 pm. Passengers were making videos of the sunset when the flight returned to the runway after some time.

Passengers said the cabin lights came on and they asked the crew members what had happened. The crew cited a technical fault. The passengers were kept inside the aircraft until 8.30 pm on Thursday. T
hey were then told that the flight would take off at 11.15 pm. However, after some time, they were informed that the flight would remain cancelled until the next day.

Sometimes sending to the airport, sometimes to the hotel Divya Maheshwari from Indore said that she came on a trip with her aunt. On Thursday evening at 5:30 PM, there was an Air India flight back from Bangkok. This flight was for Delhi. They have come from Bangkok to Delhi.
At 6 PM, boarding was done and at 6:15 PM, they were on the runway. All passengers were making videos of the flight sunset. After some time, the flight returned to the runway. When the cabin lights turned on, the crew members were asked what happened?
They cited a technical glitch and informed about getting an update. They were kept seated on the flight till 8:30 PM. After half an hour, they were deboarded from the flight and reached the airport. Passengers were informed that the flight would take off at 11:15 PM. A little later, it was announced that the flight was cancelled until tomorrow.

Hotel arrangement at 12 AM
Air India itself arranged the hotel, where we arrived at 12 AM. Today, Friday, they said the flight would be at 5:30 PM. We returned to the airport at 1:30 PM. After waiting for three to four hours, it was announced that the flight would depart at 7:15 PM.
Now the flight might be further delayed. Air India is only citing a technical issue, but 26 to 28 hours have passed, and the problem has not been solved. Many passengers have returned to India on other flights.
Passengers’ Demand – Arrange a new airplane Due to the technical fault in the existing airplane, passengers also demanded Air India to arrange a new airplane for their return to India.
