The Cockroach Janata Party protested for 36 days at Jantar Mantar over the paper leak case. During this, there were several clashes with the police.

The Delhi government said on Thursday that no legal action would be taken against protesters associated with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).

The government said Delhi Police had registered 13 FIRs in connection with violence and clashes during the student protests.

According to the government order, those who have been arrested or detained will be released shortly. However, it clarified that legal proceedings will continue against individuals with a criminal record.
