Drishyam 3 Trailer Released | Ajay Devgn Evidence Ends Story Mystery

The official trailer of Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ (Drishyam 3) was released on Wednesday. The film is set to hit theatres on October 2, 2026, a date that once again holds significance in the story.

The 2-minute-52-second trailer hints at the final chapter of the Drishyam franchise. Vijay Salgaonkar is once again seen trying to protect his family’s long-hidden secret as the investigation against him grows stronger.

Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay, with Tabu as IG Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran as Nandini. This time, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj have also joined the cast, adding new strength to the investigation against Vijay.

The trailer shows that Vijay is facing a much bigger challenge this time. What was once a battle of intelligence has now turned into a fight for survival between Vijay and the police.

Vijay himself admits that the police have strong evidence against him. This time, the investigation is being led by Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays a Crime Branch SP. Unlike those who underestimated Vijay earlier, his character understands Vijay’s intelligence and planning.

Prakash Raj also warns against taking Vijay lightly. His character says, “He is uneducated, not a fool. I wouldn’t try to take him lightly.”

The trailer also refers to Vijay as “Goa’s biggest hard-working criminal”, suggesting that his old tricks may be tested like never before.

Beyond the mind games, the role of fate also comes to the fore in the story. The trailer states, “Now this game is no longer about the mind, but about destiny.” Vijay’s family remains the biggest reason behind his decisions.

Vijay says, “A man breaks himself at every step for his family.” The trailer ends with this challenge, “You cannot even imagine what that ordinary man can become.”

The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak and is jointly produced by Star Studios and Panorama Studios.

Ajay wants Mohanlal to watch the film and share his opinion At the trailer launch of ‘Drishyam 3’, Ajay Devgn shared several things about the film. He said that after ‘Drishyam 2’, he did not know whether a third part would be made or not. According to him, it was not easy to take the story of this film forward. It had to carry the story forward from where the last film ended, with new twists and turns.

Ajay mentioned that director Abhishek Pathak came up with an idea. Everyone liked it. After this, Abhishek worked with the writers for about two and a half years. Ajay described his script as brilliant.

According to Ajay, everyone felt that ‘Drishyam 3’ should be the perfect ending to this story. He said that it is better to end the story at its peak.

The story follows Vijay Salgaonkar, who lives with his family in Goa. Vijay has studied only up to the fourth grade and works as a cable operator. He is a big movie fan and often learns from the stories he watches.

An accident changes Vijay’s life

Vijay’s life takes a sudden turn when a serious incident involves his elder daughter, Anju. Sam, the son of police officer Meera Deshmukh, harasses and blackmails Anju.

During a confrontation, Sam dies in an accident involving Anju. Vijay then uses his knowledge of films to protect his family and hide what happened from the police.

Vijay’s plan saves his family

To protect his family from going to jail, Vijay creates a detailed plan. He makes his family believe that they were outside Goa on October 2 and 3. He supports their story with hotel bookings, movie tickets and other evidence.

Meera Deshmukh remains suspicious of Vijay and his family. The police question them repeatedly and put them under pressure. However, Vijay makes sure that every answer matches the story he has created.

The biggest question is whether the police will uncover the truth. In the end, Vijay manages to protect his family and keep the secret hidden.

A new witness changes everything
