Gaurav Bhatia Files Defamation Case Against CJP Leaders

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia has filed a defamation case in the Delhi High Court against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and its leaders Abhijit Deepke, Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.

Bhatia has sought ₹2 crore in damages in the case. He has also sought a ban on further sharing of the disputed post.

The case has been filed over an AI-generated graphic. The graphic attributed a statement to Bhatia regarding Swatantra Bhardwaj. Bhardwaj has been accused of attacking the father of CJP activist Nishu Azad.

The graphic claimed that Bhatia had called Bhardwaj a “mentally ill Naxal”. The available copy does not mention when the case was filed.
