Actor Govinda was spotted outside a hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, on Saturday. However, the reason for his hospital visit has not been revealed yet.
Meanwhile, a public notice has been issued on behalf of Govinda amid several rumours circulating online about his personal life.
Govinda warns against fake and defamatory content
According to news agency ANI, the notice warns media organisations, digital platforms and content creators against creating or circulating false, defamatory, malicious, fabricated or unverified content about Govinda or his family.
The notice also warns that civil claims of up to ₹100 crore could be pursued against individuals or entities involved in spreading such content.
Notice comes amid court marriage and divorce rumours
The notice was issued following online claims that Govinda had secretly entered into a court marriage with Rani Swarnakar. Earlier, rumours about Govinda’s alleged divorce had also circulated on social media.
The notice seeks to address such claims and cautions against publishing or sharing unverified information about the actor’s personal life.
Warning over AI-generated and digitally altered content
The notice also specifically refers to digitally altered and manipulated content. This includes morphed photographs, edited videos, manipulated audio recordings, deepfakes and AI-generated content.
The warning comes at a time when digitally altered celebrity content can spread rapidly across social media platforms, making it difficult to distinguish genuine material from fabricated content.

According to the notice, there is no permission to use Govinda’s voice, photo, identity, or look-alike. Specifically, the use of AI or other digital technologies is prohibited for content related to his personal or family life.
Action under defamation and cybercrime laws
The notice mentions possible legal action under applicable laws relating to defamation, privacy violations, misuse of identity and cybercrime. It cites provisions under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
The notice also mentions possible measures such as freezing bank accounts, restricting the sale or purchase of property and seizure of passports, as part of legal proceedings where applicable.
Govinda says such activities can cause harm
Govinda expressed concern that a deliberate campaign could be carried out to damage his public image. According to the notice, he said that such activities could cause him mental and social harm.
Govinda spotted outside hospital in Juhu
Meanwhile, Govinda was spotted outside a hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Saturday. He was seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a mask.
When paparazzi asked him about his health, the actor simply replied, “I’m fine.” However, the reason for his hospital visit has not been revealed.

Govinda waved his hand to greet the paparazzi, but without much conversation, he got into his car and left the hospital.
It is worth noting that amidst the estrangement with Govinda, his wife Sunita Ahuja withdrew her divorce case from the Bandra Family Court on August 19. Meanwhile, on August 20, Sunita claimed that Govinda was preparing for a second marriage with alleged girlfriend Rani Swarnakar. This was the reason she withdrew the divorce petition. Sunita said this during a phone conversation with Rakhi Sawant.

Govinda is making a comeback to the big screen with the film ‘Roopa’, in which actress Rani Swarnakar is in the lead role. Both were recently spotted together.
Govinda’s manager calls Sunita’s claim false
Meanwhile, Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha reacted to Sunita Ahuja’s claim that the actor was planning to marry his co-actress Rani Swarnakar. Shashi called the claim false and said there was no question of Govinda entering into a second marriage.
Speaking to India Today, Shashi said he was surprised to hear Sunita’s statement. He clarified that Govinda has no plans to marry again and said that Sunita remains his wife.
“I am hearing this from you. There is nothing like that, nor will there be. There is no second marriage happening. She is his wife, and perhaps something was going on in her mind, which is why she said that.”

Shashi further said that if Govinda genuinely wanted to end his marriage and marry someone else, he would have filed for divorce himself. According to the manager, the divorce proceedings were initiated by Sunita, who later withdrew the petition.

Most reactions and statements regarding Govinda’s personal and professional life are given by his manager, Shashi Sinha.
He said that both are sensible people. Govinda has never publicly said anything against Sunita. According to Shashi, it is Sunita who has been making private matters public. He expressed hope that things would be fine between them, as these disputes also affect their children.
