Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth more than ₹35,000 crore in Vadodara today.
Today’s programme at the MSU ground will also feature PM Modi’s direct interaction with Gen-Z students and professionals.
A special stage with a Y-shaped ramp has been designed, allowing the PM to walk among young participants and interact with them. The event has adopted online registration for entry, with more than 6,000 registrations reported through BookMyShow.
The tech-driven venue has also incorporated digital QR pass entries, supported by 4K live coverage and three-tier drone security
Freight corridor, rail projects in focus
Modi will dedicate three sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) spanning 326 route km and built at a cost of over ₹20,700 crore. He will also flag off freight train services and a new passenger train between Tanda Road and Vadodara’s Pratapnagar.
The PM will dedicate the Jobat-Tanda Road new rail line and lay the foundation stone for three railway projects covering 329 km at a cost exceeding ₹9,700 crore, including Vadodara-Ratlam third and fourth lines.

Highway, Gujarat projects
Three National Highway projects worth around ₹1,780 crore will also be launched. Gujarat government projects worth nearly ₹2,600 crore include the Vadodara Urban Development Authority Ring Road Phase II, a 110 MW floating solar project at Kadana Dam and a new Vadodara Municipal Corporation office.
PMAY housing and a water-supply project for 11 eastern Vadodara villages will also be inaugurated.
Following the inauguration, PM will fly to Navsari via helicopter at 3 pm to inaugurate the new BJP office ‘Namo Kamalam’, set to be the party’s first AI-based organisational unit in India.
PM will also pay a visit to Surat, before departing for Mumbai, where he is scheduled to attend other few events.
