Ram Mandir Theft Accused Police Remand

Rajeev Shukla demands action against top officials, says arresting junior staff is not enough

Congress MP Rajeev Shukla said the Trust meeting yielded no concrete outcome. “Resignations alone achieve nothing.

No real action is being taken. Why do you want to appoint only your own people to run the temple? The entire temple was built with public money,” he said.

He added that the Ram Mandir was constructed following the Supreme Court’s order and with donations from the public. “Neither the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, nor the government, nor the RSS funded the temple. Then why do you want only your own people in the Trust? What is your vested interest?” he asked.

Shukla said the Trust should instead be managed by Ayodhya’s saints, Shankaracharyas or saints from the Ramanuja tradition. “Why are they not being brought in? Such a major theft has taken place.

Arresting only junior staff will not solve the issue. The investigation must identify those at the highest level responsible and take action against them,” he said.
