Shweta still continues to share posts about her brother Sushant on social media.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, has revealed that after his death, she experienced what she described as her brother’s presence, including his breath and scent.

In a recent conversation with YouTube channel Supertalks by The Movingship, Shweta said she felt Sushant’s presence in dreams and during meditation. She recalled one such experience around the time his ashes were kept for immersion in Patna.

Shweta said she was lying in a room when she felt that Sushant had come to meet her.

Recalling the experience, she said, “That night, he came to talk to me. He was wearing something made of jute and was dressed in a kurta-like outfit. He hugged me and spoke to me for hours. I had so many questions for him. I asked, ‘Brother, why did this happen?’ I asked him about many things, and he explained everything to me.”

She added that the experience helped her find a sense of closure. “Somehow, all the knots and complexities inside me began to untangle. Finally, he hugged and kissed me, and I could feel his scent, his breath—everything,” she said.

Shweta revealed that she was in California when she received the news of Sushant’s death. She said that her body went numb upon hearing the news, and later she started crying loudly.

She mentioned that due to Covid-19, she could not come to India and could not even say her final goodbye to her brother.

Sushant Singh Rajput played the character of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the biopic film ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. The film played a crucial role in Sushant’s career.

Meanwhile, Shweta said in the podcast that Dhoni did not contact the family after Sushant’s death. She stated that Kangana Ranaut and some other celebrities had contacted the family.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his flat in Bandra on 14 June, 2020. Initially, Mumbai Police called it a case of suicide. However, after questions arose on social media and an FIR was filed by Sushant’s family in Patna, claims and allegations of both murder and abetment to suicide came to light.

After the order of the Supreme Court and the recommendation of the Bihar government, the official investigation of this case was handed over to the CBI in August 2020. In its closure report to the court, the CBI had stated that no evidence of abetment to suicide or any kind of criminal conspiracy or murder in Sushant’s death was found.
