Bollywood debut with ‘Student of the Year 2’
2019 was an important year for Tara Sutaria’s career. That year, she made her Bollywood debut with Punit Malhotra’s directorial film ‘Student of the Year 2’. Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday played the lead roles alongside her in the film.
Tara played the role of Mia Chawla in the film. It was a story centred on college life, friendship, love and competition. The film received mixed reviews from critics, but it gave Tara the opportunity to make her debut on the big screen.

Tara played the character of R.V. Malhotra in the film. It was part of the franchise connected to ‘Ek Villain’, released in 2014, but had a different story.
