Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to remove State Minister Konda Surekha from the Council of Ministers. This decision was taken amidst the growing controversy over the statements made by her daughter against the Chief Minister and other Congress leaders.
Surekha’s daughter had accused several Congress leaders, including the CM, of land extortion worth ₹200 crore.
According to an official statement, the recommendation to remove Surekha was sent to Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Thursday itself.
