The Government of India has made it clear that the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation) Amendment Bill is an internal matter for India and that no other country has the right to comment on it.

India’s response came after US Congressman Riley Moore commented on the issue. Moore wrote on social media platform X on August 4 that the FCRA Bill was a direct attack on Christians.
The FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation) Amendment Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha during this year’s Budget Session.
It is scheduled to be discussed during the Monsoon Session. According to sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah may respond to the discussion.
