A bus collided with an auto-rickshaw in Andhra Pradesh’s Palnadu district on Thursday, killing seven people and injuring eight others, police said.
Four children are among the injured.
The accident took place near Adda Road in Chilakaluripet mandal. The bus was travelling from Vijayawada to Tirupati when it collided with an auto-rickshaw carrying 15 passengers.
A Chilakaluripet police officer said four people died at the scene.
Two others died while being treated at the Government General Hospital in Guntur, while another passenger died at the government hospital in Chilakaluripet.
